This was an Oak rustic oiled floor, supplied and fitted to a kitchen, dining and sitting room. The floors were levelled on the first day in preparation for installation. The floor had previously been covered in laminate. The kick boards on the units were removed in the kitchen and the new Oak flooring fitted upto the legs of the units. Fitting upto the legs of the units saves on material/fitting cost and means the floor can be uplifted without disturbing the kitchen if ever there is a leak.

The rustic Oak flooring brought a beautiful natural character to the living space, giving the rooms a real sense of size and perspective. Classic Oak floors look fantasic with all colours of decor and soft furnishings as you can see in the pictures. Wood floors are easy to maintain and continue to grow in beauty with maturity.
