This is a sitting room floor, supplied and fitted with an Oak select (very few knots) engineered plank. The customer had recently left the army, having served as a sergeant. A truly lovely family with a couple of lively boys. The floor levels were some of the worst we have seen for a long time. The first day and a half were spent getting the floor into shape for installation with self levelling screed.

We are of on holiday, here are the keys.

The family left us the keys to the house and went on holiday to the IOW for the week. We sent some tantalising pictures on the mobile phone, showing our progress with the floor. Apparently an earlier ferry was booked for the return journey as anticipation got the better of them. We fitted skirting and entrance matting as well as the floor. The family returned home to a transformed sitting room.
